What are inconel hex bolts?

Inconel hex bolts, also known as Hex Cap Screws, are high strength bolts that are excellent against corrosion resistance and extreme temperatures. Since the Inconel series has a high corrosion-fatigue strength, high tensile strength, and resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking inconel hex bolts are used in many extreme environments such as submarines, propulsion motors, and the aerospace industry. Inconel 600, 625 and 718 properties are as follows:

inconel hex bolts

Inconel 600:Nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance at higher temperatures, with good resistance in carburizing and chloride containing environments.

Inconel 625:Is a non-magnetic , corrosion - and oxidation-resistant, nickel-based alloy. Its outstanding strength and toughness in the temperature range cryogenic to 2000°F (1093°C). Can be used in a variety of extreme conditions from heat shields to special salt water applications.

Inconel 718:Is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -423° to 1300°F. It can easily fabricated and is used from everything from gas engine turbines to cryogenic tanks.

We carry a select style of Inconel hex bolts on our shelf. We can make Inconel bolts in standard and metric sizes. We also can make them as tap bolts (full thread) or standard hex bolts. KD Fasteners, Inc.® can also make your Inconel bolts per print or custom.
