Lightweight and strong, Titanium Grade 5 hex bolts are the perfect solution for applications including oil and gas, military and sporting goods.titanium grade 5 hex bolts

Titanium Grade 5 hex bolts are twice strong as hex bolt made with Titanium Grade 2 and four times stronger than hex bolts made with 316 stainless steel.

These hex bolts are resistant to sea water up to 500°F and are shown to last almost two decades in tests of polluted seawater. Additionally, they show no signs of pitting and crevice corrosion even when one mile below the surface. They are also resistant to erosion up to a velocity of 120 feet/second lending them well to the aerospace and aircraft industries.

Titanium Grade 5 hex bolts are resistant to attack by pure hydrocarbons and most chlorinated and fluorinated hydrocarbons provided there is no acid contamination. They are also fully resistant to solutions of chlorides, hypochlorides, chlorates, perchlorates and chlorine dioxide making them ideal for the paper industry.

Titanium Grade 5 is 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium.
